About Me:
Dr Seppanen lives in Peru with her husband Kyle and son Andreas. She enjoys spending her free time hiking at Starved Rock, hanging out with friends, and baking delicious food. She loves traveling and has been to 15 countries and just over half the states. She enjoys music and plays the flute and piano and likes to sing in choirs.

Dr. Seppanen is a 2017 graduate from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She was a member of the Michigan Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medicine Association all four years of veterinary school. She was also an active member of Omega Tau Sigma, a professional veterinary fraternity.
Dr. Seppanen received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Adrian College in Adrian, MI.

Dr Seppanen is really interested in soft tissue surgery and diagnostic ultrasound.

Dr Seppanen has one dog – Cali a tripod Chihuahua (she performed the amputation as a student) and one black cat – Rue
Favorite Thing About My Job:
Here at Ancare, Dr Seppanen enjoys creating a bond with clients and their pets, educating them about common ailments that our companion animals get and how we can work together to improve their lives. She loves her coworkers as they are the essential to the practice. The Ancare staff describe Dr Seppanen as patient, kind and intelligent.
