Dr. Jesse Champagne & Ella Visit Northwest Elementary!
Dr. Jesse Champagne and staff member, Ella, had the pleasure of visiting the kindergarten classes at Northwest Elementary School in LaSalle as part of their Community Helpers Week!
Dr. Champagne performed a full physical examination on the school's beloved therapy dog, Penny, while the students watched in awe. Each child even got the chance to listen to Penny’s heartbeat!
The class also had a fun and interactive discussion about what’s healthy vs. unhealthy for dogs to eat. The kids were amazing participants, asking thoughtful questions and showing off their knowledge!
A big thank you to Northwest Elementary for having us. We loved sharing our passion for animal care with the next generation of potential veterinarians!
